Prof. Noha Abdelkader has been a Professor of Pharmacology and Toxicology at Cairo University since 2022. Her research focuses on drug repurposing mainly for neurodegenerative and psychiatric disorders, yielding around 50 peer-reviewed articles in highly ranked international journals (h-index: 27; citations: 1860). An experienced mentor, she has supervised nearly 30 Master’s and PhD students and actively presents at international conferences. Prof. Abdelkader has driven educational innovation through major EU Erasmus+KA2 projects, coordinating the ITCT diploma and serving as an external expert for the OPPM diploma. Additionally, she serves on the promotion evaluation panel for Egyptian pharmacology and clinical pharmacy faculty, while holding active memberships in several national and international scientific societies.
