Dr. Neama Fawzy is an independent researcher. She holds a Doctorate and a Master’s degree in Sociology from Helwan University, Cairo, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Cairo University.
Current research
Her research interests lie in the field of sociology, where she focuses on studying contemporary social changes and their impact on the structure of the family and society. She is particularly interested in analyzing the transformations occurring in values and family relationships in light of rapid economic and technological changes, and how these transformations affect family stability. She also focuses on studying the impact of climate change on societies, especially the most vulnerable groups, and how societies can adapt to these challenges. Furthermore, her research interests include digital transformation and the impact of artificial intelligence on society, in terms of changing patterns of social interaction and the labor market.
Future research vision
She is highly interested in developing herself and aspires to benefit from the interactive environment the forum provides by exchanging experiences with researchers and interested individuals from various disciplines, which will contribute to broadening her intellectual horizons. Joining the Arab Scientific Forum represents a real opportunity for her to learn from people with diverse experiences and ideas. She also hopes to contribute ideas or research related to issues such as social change and mobility, and technological developments, because these are topics close to her heart and she believes in their importance.
