Ines ELBINI is an Associate Professor at the Institut Pasteur de Tunis and Head of the Experimental Platform of Neurosciences and Neurodegeneration. Her research focuses on neurodegenerative diseases, particularly Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, neuroinflammation, demyelination, and ion channels as therapeutic targets. She has authored 52 peer-reviewed international publications, with an H-index of 24 and more than 1,680 citations. She has led and contributed to several national and international research projects, including studies exploring animal venom-derived molecules for Parkinson’s disease therapy. She is also actively involved in scientific societies, editorial activities, graduate supervision, and international neuroscience collaborations.
