Dina graduated from the faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Mansoura University. After which she obtained her master's degree in Meat Hygiene from the faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Kafrelsheikh University. During that time, Dina realized a passion for science education and communication, and went on to receive a diploma in STEAM Education from AUC as well as training in Science Journalism at the British Council. She was a FameLab competition national finalist and special award winner in 2014 and was awarded the British Council’s small science communication grants to establish Egypt Ambulant Science Expo (EASE) with the mission of simplifying science for all, in 2021. Currently, Dina is a freelance science journalist who has also worked as a scientific translator for Nature – Arabic edition and participated in several national and international science communication events in partnership with Zagazig University, Discovery Education and the Riyadh Home coming Festival.
